Notary

Our licensed professional notary public services are here to make life easier. Once your documents are notarized, we will help you make any necessary copies and send them where they need to go. Notaries are available Monday-Friday. Please note the library does not have notary service available on Saturday.

Why do documents need to be notarized? A notary public acts as an impartial third-party witness to not only the signature of a document, but also that all parties who signed a document did so willingly and under their own free will.

Types of documents that may require notarization:

Wills

Trusts

Deeds

Contracts

Affidavits

Bring a valid, government issued photo ID with you when you visit De Soto Public Library for notary services.

Exam Proctoring

Have a test proctored by Library Staff. Call 636.586.3858 to setup an appointment.

Voter Registration

If you are not a registered voter and would like to register, please see a library clerk for a voter registration card. You can also register online.
