New Program at the Library: Creative Connections Ages 18 - up, September 25th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Bring your current painting or sketching project to work on and enjoy time with other artists. Teen Bag - a - Book, September's Theme: Read one of your favorite books and write an alternative ending, ages 13 - 18, Bags will be available for pick up by September 8th. Pup Tales with Darcy, Starting back up! Every 2nd Thursday of the Month, September 14th at 4:00 PM. New STEAM/ Stay Sharp Kits available for check out! Each kit includes supportive activities to help reduce memory loss, variation of topics, for all ages, fun for everyone! Kits have a 3 week checkout. This project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provision of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State. Book Club meeting on October 25th at 10:00 AM, if you are looking for a way to connect with other readers and to explore fascinating reads, this group is for you. Find your Flow, Teen Paint Class, ages 13 - 18, October 25th at 4:00 PM, sign up is required, (6.3.6) 5.8.6. 3.8.5.8. Resource Spotlight, Teen Health and Wellness, this resource provides middle and high school students with up-to-date, nonjudgemental, self-help support. Topics covered include diseases, drugs, alcohol, nutrition, mental health, suicide, bullying, and LGBTQ+ information.
